Zakat-ul-Fitr
The minimum amount for Zakat-ul-Fitr has been established this year at $5 per person. Fitrana is a charitable donation of food that must be given before Eid prayer. The head of household can also pay zakat al-Fitr for their dependents.

Islamic Society of Kingston is a Registered Charity under Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). All donations to ISK are tax deductable in Canada.
Donations may be made “In person” at the Islamic Centre. Pay to the treasurer, to any member of the executive or put in the box provided for it at the ICK. Please leave your name and address so that tax receipt can be issued.
